Ingredients #
Chicken marinade #
- 4 large chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 3 tsp ginger powder
- 1.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1.5 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. oil
Sauce #
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 3 tsp ginger root
- 7-8 garlic cloves
- 2 large onions
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 4 cans (13.6 Oz each) diced tomatoes
- 4 tbsp. garam masala
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp salt
- 1-2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- cilantro for garnish

Cut chicken in bite size pieces and marinade it overnight

Cook the chicken (make sure not to overcook it)

Sautee onions in a pot with oil, garlic and ginger in a pot

Once the onions are cooked, add in tomato paste and cook for 2 mins

Add all the diced tomatoes and spices and simmer for 35 mins

Add chicken, heavy cream and cilantro to the sauce

Serve it with naan or basmati rice
